If you’ve ever wanted to ask a funder:
- What’s the difference between a good application and a great one?
- How do you make funding decisions? and
- What exactly are you guys looking for, anyway??
Then, here is your chance to get answers!
Our guests will give us a grant-makers’ view on nonprofit priorities, how they make decisions, and the funding landscape today. They will also answer your questions about grant-making and philanthropy.
Kamila Barzykowski is a Senior Vice President at the United Way of Rhode Island. Before becoming involved with United Way’s focus on community impact, she managed fund distribution and outcomes measurement. Kamila has been on the planning and management team for several community initiatives and currently staffs UWRI’s Helping People In Crisis impact area where the major focus is affordable housing and ending homelessness. She holds a BA from Emmanuel College, an MSW from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA from Boston University.
